aroma of hope

I dreamt of a petal. it fell in a lake of tears.....and was lost in the winds of change. singled out among the crowd, desparate i was.....in my search for the flower,from which it fell. i bled in the thorns of hate, i bathed in the aroma of its scent......when i found the rose i searched.......i saw it bloom with the petals it lost........

This image was taken from a launch on ganges. I have lived in Calcutta for 5 years. this image is for her........ for the city i adore......for the life it lives......... everyday. In years to come.......my memory will be etched with infinite images......but i can say for sure.......if any of them makes me come alive......it shall be this.......it shall be this.......for this is the crowning of a glory...... called life.
